2020 Hidden Society Sangiovese
Created by husband and wife duo Brendon and Ariana, Hidden Society is "a movement to empower, educate and inspire those who come from all different backgrounds". They intend to accomplish their goals through small-batch, exclusive limited releases of wine to better promote diversity amongst the often-homogenized alcohol beverage industry.
Winemaker Brendon Pineda is doing just that, with his first cuvée, the 2020 Hidden Society Sangiovese from Mendocino County. This is the first collaboration of Subject to Change's Budbreak Project, a resource-sharing initiative for aspiring winemakers.
